Par-3 Hole-in-One Skill Challenge

Last updated: September 3, 2026

1. Event-specific terms

Each Par’fect Swing Golf par-3 challenge will include an event notice displayed at the designated hole identifying the participating course, event date, eligible tee location and distance, entry amount, available prize, prize-payment structure, sponsor or insurer, and any additional event-specific conditions. That notice and these rules together form the complete rules for the event. If they conflict, the event notice controls only for that event.

2. Sponsor and administration

The challenge is sponsored and administered by Par’fect Swing Golf (“Par’fect Swing”). The participating golf course provides the venue but does not determine whether a shot is a winner and does not guarantee payment of any prize. Any charitable beneficiary is separate from the contest sponsor and is not responsible for administering the challenge or awarding prizes.

3. Eligibility

Unless the event notice states otherwise, participation is open to amateur golfers who are at least 18 years old and legally present at the participating course. Anyone who has earned a PGA or comparable professional certification, or who has served as a touring or club professional, is ineligible unless expressly approved in writing before the attempt. Par’fect Swing representatives, participating-course employees involved in administration, prize-provider employees, witnesses and their immediate household members may not participate.

4. Designated hole and distance

The attempt must occur on the designated green of a regulation hole at a regulation golf course. Unless the insurer approves otherwise in writing, the minimum distance is 150 yards for men under age 50, 135 yards for men age 50 or older, and 120 yards for women. The green, cup and playing surface may not be specially altered to make a hole-in-one more likely. Equipment and the hole must conform to applicable Rules of Golf.

5. Registration and entry

A participant must register with the authorized on-course representative and accept the event notice and these rules before attempting the shot. Registration information must be accurate and complete. Participation is voluntary. Any required payment and the exact charitable allocation, if applicable, will be disclosed before entry.

6. The attempt

Each registered participant receives one shot from the designated tee using a conforming golf ball and club. Practice shots, mulligans, substitutions and additional attempts are prohibited. The ball must be struck by the registered participant and travel from the teeing area into the designated cup in a single stroke. No person may obstruct, redirect or otherwise affect the ball’s path.

7. Witnesses and verification

The attempt must be observed by the witnesses required by the applicable prize-insurance policy and may be recorded by video. A shot is only a potentially winning shot until Par’fect Swing and, when applicable, the insurer verify eligibility, distance, equipment, witnesses, video or other evidence, and compliance with all rules. Statements by course staff do not constitute confirmation of a prize.

8. Claim procedure

A potential winner must notify the on-course representative immediately and contact Par’fect Swing within 24 hours. Within seven calendar days, the potential winner must provide all reasonably required verification materials, which may include government-issued identification, contact information, a signed affidavit and release, witness statements, tax documentation and authorization to review event footage. Failure to meet these deadlines may result in disqualification where permitted by law.

9. Prize and payment

The available prize, approximate retail value, payment format and any annuity or lump-sum election will be stated in the event notice and must match the controlling prize-insurance policy. No prize is promised unless those terms are displayed before the attempt. Prizes are nontransferable. A verified winner is solely responsible for applicable federal, state and local taxes. Payment timing is subject to verification, required documents and the applicable insurance policy.

10. Conduct and disqualification

Par’fect Swing may disqualify a participant for false registration information, tampering, interference, unsportsmanlike conduct, rule violations or conduct that threatens the fairness, safety or integrity of the challenge. Par’fect Swing may pause or cancel an attempt when weather, course conditions, safety concerns, equipment failure or circumstances beyond reasonable control make fair administration impracticable.

11. Assumption of risk and release

Golf involves risks of personal injury, death and property damage. By voluntarily participating, each participant accepts the ordinary and inherent risks of golf and, to the fullest extent allowed by law, releases Par’fect Swing, the participating course, the prize provider or insurer, and their respective owners, officers, employees, contractors and agents from claims arising from participation, except claims that cannot legally be waived.

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the released parties will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages arising from participation or administration of the challenge. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so these limitations may not apply to every participant.

13. Privacy and communications

Par’fect Swing may use registration information to administer the challenge, verify eligibility, communicate about a claim, maintain legally required records and protect contest integrity. Promotional email or text messages require separate consent where required by law and are not a condition of participation. Personal information may be shared with the participating course, insurer, prize administrator, professional advisers or authorities only as reasonably necessary for those purposes or as required by law.

14. Publicity

Where lawful, a verified winner may be asked to sign a separate publicity release permitting use of the winner’s name, likeness, voice and event footage. Consent will not be broader than described in that release and will not be required where prohibited by law.

15. Rules of golf and amateur status

Play is governed by the applicable USGA Rules of Golf. Participants are responsible for understanding how accepting a prize may affect their amateur status. Hole-in-one prizes may be treated differently from other competition prizes under the USGA Rules of Amateur Status.

16. Charitable beneficiary

Any event promoted as benefiting a charity will identify the beneficiary and explain how funds are calculated and delivered. The charitable beneficiary does not sponsor, administer, insure or endorse the contest unless expressly stated in writing. Par’fect Swing will not use a charity’s name or marks beyond the permission granted by that organization.

17. Governing terms

These rules, the applicable event notice and any documents required to claim a prize constitute the agreement concerning the challenge. If any provision is held unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. Texas law governs to the extent permitted by applicable law, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

18. Changes before an event

Par’fect Swing may revise these rules for future events by posting an updated version and effective date. Rules may not be changed retroactively to disadvantage a participant after that participant’s attempt. The version displayed or made available at registration governs the attempt.
